Since we have downsized considerably and we are preparing for a major life change to living in an RV and touring the USA, we no longer have cows. Milking is not practical since I am very, very pregnant and I don’t have a place that is sheltered from the weather here at our new place. All those factors together mean that life is simpler in many ways (except that I keep forgetting to buy milk at the store).
And, while I do appreciate the simplicity of not having the extra chores, I do miss my cows.

I have been following your blog for a while and then lost track only find out the farm days are coming to an end
Have you found a home for your LGD yet? We have just begun our small farm journey and bought our little pig on Saturday, the chicks, poults, and ducklings are ordered
Best wishes on your new journey, what an adventure it will be!

p.s. Seriously, if your guard dog is looking for a new charge I would love to step in!
Sandy found a great home with a large family with a small farm. Pretty much what she left behind I think. I look forward to following your farm page to see how you are doing.
